Steps to your Real Estate Career:

1. Contact us to talk about you and your goals, and whats the best for your individual situation.
2. You will need at least 1 class to start - Real Estate Principles.  If you have a 4 year degree in business you might have the other required classes so you won't be provisional, which means that you only have the minimum of the one class to get your license.  But you actually need a total of 3 classes to have your full license - non-provisonal.  Click here for the Department of Real Estate salesperson requirements.
3. Sign up for the Real Estate Principles course, we recommend Real Estate Trainers (RETrainers.com).  Call them up, tell them your a new agent with Majestic Mortgage & Primemax Realty and you want the study at home book & the cram course (this is a study course taken the weekend before your state exam)
4. At the same time as #3 above, sign up for your State test online at the Dept of Real estate website call - Elicensing, schedule your test about 1-2 months out, this time period will allow you to pass your real estate principles class and test and have time to rest and take the cram course. When you schedule your test with the DRE you will have to pay a small test fee - be prepared to pay by credit card.
5. After your waiting period once you receive your study at home real estate principles class, take the REtrainers online test and pass. Then take your cram course and then sit for your State test (local testing is now available - check the DRE website).
6. Make sure your in contact with the broker here, so we can't gauge when your cards will need to be ordered so you can begin your fun career in real estate.
7. Pass your State test and they will send you an application for licensing and you will need to get your fingerprinting done (called livescan now).  Mail in the application and do the fingerprinting and in about 6-8 weeks your license will be completed.  Use the license check online for you people who can't wait.
8. Start work as a Loan Officer or Real Estate Salesperson.
